Despite the effects of the global economic meltdown, the Philippines maintains its competitive outsourcing edge and plays a major role in the evolution and maturity of the world’s outsourcing and offshoring industry.

True enough, the Philippines’ outsourcing revenues significantly increased to 25 percent from $4.8 billion in 2007 to $6 billion in 2008, while industry employment accelerated by 33 percent to an estimated 400,000 employees. (more…)
