Many youngsters get excited about working for a BPO Company or in a Call Center as the BPO industry offers lucrative and attractive salary package, perks, and other benefits. However, it is not an easy job to do. To survive in the BPO field one must have some real test for customer care, show soft skills, be patient enough to handle a stressful situation, be nice enough to listen to people or customers facing problems, be willing to help, be proactive enough to add to customer's delight, and possess other such professional qualities that are required in this industry. Many people think there is no long term job security in the BPO industry. But it is not true. The saying "survival of fittest" is still true. I have worked for AEGIS BPO Services, Noida (India). I acquired those skills and qualities that I have mentioned above. I suggest everyone to get some exposure of working in the BPO industry so that one can acquire excellent skills that are required in almost all types of work or industry.
