Once again, the prisoners in the Cebu Provincial Detention & Rehabilitation Center have prepared a fitting tribute to Michael Jackson the “King of Pop” who died this week on Thursday June 25th 2009.
The original, you may recall, was a smash hit on YouTube with over 25 million views worldwide. This began as an experiment to get the detainees into better shape and allow for bonding and it’s turned into a meme. In case you missed the original, a must watch:
Whatever your thoughts on Michael Jackson, his influence around the world is incredible and his music has a timeless quality about it that does tend to bring people together.
