Submission For WORST English Description On A Product EVER!23 Jun
Living in Davao City, Philippines, you sometimes see some poorly written English for advertising on signs, hand-outs, billboards, etc. At first, you’re amazed with all of the errors but it kind of grows on you after a while and you don’t seem to notice it as much. The other day, I was at Gaisano mall (G-Mall) looking for an additional power cable for my laptop. While I was at the store, I noticed behind the glass a cleaning package for LCD screens.
Knowing that I’d neglected my screen for FAR too long, I decided to pick it up as well…especially because they are “Expert in cleaning screen”
I didn’t notice most of the text until I got it home, but had a good laugh about it. Poor sentence structure, outrageous spelling errors, and ridiculous grammar errors abound:
Well at least I have “Guarantee period:two years” eh? Maybe that covers my dying laptop too since I’m using their product on it? Fat chance there…

LOL. was that a Chinese product?
I can’t imagine if that came from a Filipino company…haha
i believe filifino companies are meticulous when it comes to things like that…well, as far as i know. haha
this is kinda funny though.
btw, are you accepting applications from people who are so new in SEO stuffs? I’m interested to apply in your company.
filifino? really?
So many companies just use online translation sites which can be of help only if you know the language. They think that they are saving money by not using a translator and proofreader.
I wonder what they answer to business inquiries?
Real terrible english.
Lol. This is made in China.
