TryBPO’s focus on the small to medium sized business community means that we’re constantly on the lookout for helpful sites, tips, and tricks that can help these business owners succeed.  Our most recent find is YoungEntrepreneur.com.  They have built a community of business owners that rely on each other for suggestions, support, etc.  In addition to maintaining their blog, they also have a forum where other like-minded business owners can go to ask questions, find information, etc.

Their users are quite active and diverse, leading to interesting conversation from quite a few different viewpoints. One of the things we really like is the focus on SEO and the Web 2.0 concepts of social media, communities, etc.  Their interaction with their users and community is great and they often feature small business owners to give them more visibility.  In the forum, users can post links to their own blogs to answer questions, pose questions, etc.

One of the things that really strikes me about YoungEntrepreneur.com is that they really get to the hopes and fears of the small business owner.  Addressing such issues as, “How do I know if my business will work or not?” and, “How to stay motivated” are serious concerns for any business owner.  It can get lonely in business and it’s great to have resources that are dealing with some of the same frustrations, fears, and joys that you’re facing.
